The Arch Bar at the InterContinental Hotel in Park Lane holds monthly Gin & Jazz evenings and we’re headed there on Friday 28th April. Would you like to join us for a night of live music, gin and canapés?
The event, which takes place overlooking the iconic Wellington Arch, celebrates the heyday of hotel revelry when Jazz was a social release and bootleg gin was served behind closed doors.
Let’s start with the jazz! The Swing Ninjas will be entertaining us – they’re popular at Jazz festivals, parties and swing dance/socials. Here’s a video of The Swing Ninjas in action. We challenge you to stop your tapping feet!
Now the gin… with over 40 to choose from, The Arch Bar’s award-winning bar team selects gins for quality, innovation, heritage, and locality. Taste a variety if you like – all will be delivered with a dash of theatre that transports you to an era of splendour.
Our Gin & Jazz evening combines golden age Jazz with a classic cocktail and a tribute menu.
Specialty Martin Miller’s Gin cocktails are served including the signature ‘Mayfair Hop’, a modern twist on the classic French 75. As a nod to the era, the hotel’s culinary team have created sharing plates to match the decadence of the occasion and we’ll be enjoying these too!
