Ahead of next week’s International Music Day, Who London is hosting a drinks get-together followed by a visit to Handel & Hendrix in London.

Join our Who London host and other Who Londoners in our private room, with a private bar, at Mayfair’s popular Windmill pub. We’ll start the afternoon chatting over drinks for around an hour in the Low Pie Room. Then we’ll head to 25 Brook Street (4-minute walk) and enjoy an experience with a twist!

Separated by a wall & 200 years are the homes of two very different musicians who chose London & changed music.

George Frideric Handel lived at 25 Brook Street from 1723 for 36 years. In his home he composed several musical pieces, and you can see many exhibits relating to his life and works.

American Rock Musician Jimi Hendrix lived on the upper floor of no. 23 Brook Street in the late 20th century. For Hendrix, Brook Street was the doorstep to the London music scene of the late 60s. Hendrix’s bedroom has been restored to how it was in 1968-69 along with additional exhibits.

Entry to the house is £10 or free for National Art Pass holders (you can buy your ticket there) and when we arrive we can go in straight away if there is no queue and enough room for us to enter.
