Hear About Theatreland & Enjoy A Cream Tea

£18 members, £20 non-members | 15 spaces

Your ticket includes tea and scones at the end of this tour.

This intimate group tour of London’s theatre district led by qualified London Blue Badge Tour Guide Diane Burstein, treats you to historical vignettes and anecdotes about the West End’s most illustrious personalities.

Click here for a taster of this tour.

This walk is for all ages so Diane will introduce Who London ticket holders to each other at the start of the tour.

See Central London’s oldest theatre and hear about its many ghosts, view the Royal Opera House and hear about the riots which took place there.

Visit a haunted stage door where an actor was brutally murdered. Discover the “Actors’ Church” and stand on the spot where Eliza Doolittle sold her flowers.

See the home of a leading 18th century actor/manager, walk through atmospheric alleyways, view grand variety theatres which once hosted everything from equestrian shows to ballet.

This special walking tour finishes at a cafe in the heart of Theatreland where you’ll enjoy tea and scones with cream & jam in the company of your guide and fellow walkers (included in the ticket price).

Walk meets outside the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in Catherine Street (Where Billy Elliot is playing) at 2pm and finishes with tea at the Picture House Café in Shaftesbury Avenue, near to Picadilly Circus Station. Tea is served at 4pm so we would envisage the afternoon finishing by approximately 5pm.
