If you receive our newsletters you will have read that we cannot plan any events until at least May onwards due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Of course our Good Friday Get-Together is cancelled. We are trying to get a new date for later on in the year for Upstairs @ Ronnie Scott’s and we will let you know when we hear back from the jazz club. We really hope to have similar events in the second half of 2020.*
For now, should you like some company why not join our free Who London 50+ Socialisers Facebook group. We’re sharing articles and having some fun too.
It’s World Health Day today, 7th April. So we’d love to start collecting some stories of Who Londoners helping others during the current crisis and/or how you yourselves are being helped. Are you a nurse, carer, scientist, psychologist/counsellor, postman, courier, bus/train driver, butcher/baker/green grocer or work for a supermarket for example? Have you been helping your neighbour with shopping? Maybe you have a special message to share with us to say thank you to someone or a group of people. Maybe you have been doing something unique at home which you would like to tell us about. Drop us a line and let us know.
We’ll be sharing more information about virtual events on our newsletter so you don’t miss out – scroll down on this page and join our free newsletter.
We would also like to chat with you about ideas we have for future Who London events. You can join our Zoom live video meetings for free and share your thoughts too – get in touch if you would like to join us.
*When we do have our in-person events once again please do:
– bring your own sanitiser and tissues;
– frequently wash your hands during events;
– do not come to our events if you are unwell to protect yourself and others.
See you “virtually” soon.
